Pollo AI Video Generator Review

Pollo AI squeezes dozens of video models, an agent and ad templates into one account. Here is what it does well, where users get stuck, and how Yovid compares.

The short version

Is Pollo AI worth paying for?

Yes, for some people. Singapore-registered COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. runs Pollo AI, and its menu is one of the widest around: dozens of licensed models, Pollo-branded ones, an agent, ad templates and apps. Fans say a short prompt is usually enough. The complaints that repeat are credits burned on clips that ignore the brief, filters that reject harmless requests, and disputes over billing and refunds. Agent workflows, templates or an MCP server make it worth a look. If you mostly direct clips yourself, Yovid runs Kling, Seedance, Veo, MiniMax H3 and Wan with pay-once credit packs, a relaxed mode for false blocks, and nothing charged when a run fails.

What Pollo AI Offers

One Pollo AI login gets you the model menu, Pollo Agent, ready-made ad flows and a handful of editing extras. Below are the pieces people actually sign up for, each followed by the nearest thing Yovid has.

A Long Menu of Video Models

The heart of Pollo AI is one generator with a model switcher. When we looked on October 13, 2026, Pollo’s own 3.0 and 2.5 sat beside Veo 3, Sora 2, Kling 4.0 and 3.0, Seedance 2.0 and 2.5, Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3 (plus H3 Max), Vidu Q4, Pika, Luma, Runway, PixVerse and Happy Horse. Text, image and reference inputs all go through the same box, with per-run choices for duration, frame shape, resolution and number of results.

Breadth costs attention. Each model draws credits at a different price, and the prices on screen shift whenever a promotion runs: on our check date subscribers saw Seedance 2.5 at 60% off, no expiry mentioned, so today’s price may not be next month’s.

The Yovid way

Yovid also gathers several model families in one composer (Seedance 2.5 and 2.0, MiniMax H3, Veo 3.1, Wan 3.0 and Kling 3.0) and tells you what a run costs before you press Generate.

Pollo Agent for Finished Videos

Pollo Agent is for people who would rather not stitch shots together by hand. Give it a script, a product page link, a loose concept, a creative brief or reference images; it drafts a plan, chooses workflows and models, generates the parts and returns a story video, an ad, a product visual, a social post or a graphic.

Nothing else here works quite like it, and it is a fair reason to stay on Pollo AI if planning multi-shot pieces is your bottleneck. Yovid has no agent of this kind; the nearest equivalent is wiring the steps together yourself.

The Yovid way

On Yovid, AI Canvas lets you lay out image and video steps on one board and chain them, so a storyboard frame can feed straight into a clip.

Marketing Studio for Ads and UGC

Marketing Studio turns about a dozen ad formats into ready-made flows, from Money Shot and TVC spots to Try-On, Unboxing, Tutorial, Clone Video Ads and URL-to-video ads. It is aimed at merchants posting on Instagram and TikTok or selling through Amazon and Shopify, and its Brand Kit stores your logo, palette, fonts and tone so later ads match.

Teams turning out ad variations every week will feel the time saved. For a handful of product shots, a plain image-to-video run with a clear motion prompt often lands close without any template.

On Yovid, drop the product photo in as the opening frame and describe the move you want; Seedance 2.5 can also follow reference pictures, clips and sound.

Pollo Director and Editing Tools

Pollo Director, still labelled beta when we checked, builds music videos, short dramas and brand films one scene at a time, handling story, cast, pacing, voiceover, music and captions in one flow with a multitrack timeline. Around it sit subtitle and background removal, face swap, lip sync, an enhancer, an upscaler and a general video editor.

That pushes Pollo AI toward editing-suite territory. Yovid has no timeline editor, so captions and cuts happen in whichever editor you already use; what Yovid does add is upscaling for finished images and clips.

Template Apps and Video Effects

Pollo AI’s app shelf runs to hundreds of entries, from anime and movie-trailer recipes to story-driven music videos, news and explainer formats, bulk clones of viral videos and ads built from a single photo, plus a long tail of effects. Each one swaps the empty prompt box for a fixed recipe: pick it, add a photo or product, press go.

Recipes are quick when you are chasing a trend and frustrating when the shot in your head is one the template cannot make.

Image, Avatar and Voice Tools

Outside video, Pollo AI’s image side includes Imagen, Seedream, Ideogram, Recraft, Qwen Image, FLUX with Flux Kontext, Nano Banana 2 and GPT Image 2 and 2.5. Photos can become talking avatars, and the audio tools cover TTS, generated or cloned voices and sound effects. On October 13, 2026, Lite and Pro subscribers got a year of unlimited images on three models: Grok Imagine Image, Nano Banana and GPT Image 1.5.

When one person handles the stills, the voiceover and the clip for an ad, having all three behind one login is handy.

API, MCP Server and Phone Apps

Pollo AI also lives outside the browser. Developers get an API and a command-line tool, mobile users get Android and iOS apps, ChatGPT users get a plugin, and Pollo MCP hands its generators to agents so Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT can call them directly. When we checked, newcomers could make four videos or twenty images through Pollo MCP without paying.

For automation, or for generating from inside an AI assistant, this is among the clearest reasons to choose Pollo AI. Yovid offers a REST API for video generation, but no MCP server and no phone app.

Who Makes Pollo AI and How It Is Positioned

Pollo AI calls itself an AI creative suite aimed at marketers and creators: purpose-built studios for campaigns and day-to-day posts, a bench of well-known models, and an agent meant to take a project from first idea to something you can publish. Its About Us page credits COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., registered in Singapore, and the site claims an audience of more than 10 million people.

It licenses models rather than training most of its own. First-party apps like Hailuo AI and Kling AI each sell a single family; Pollo AI pulls in models from Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Alibaba, Kuaishou, MiniMax and more, mixes in Pollo-branded models, then layers studios, apps and an agent over the lot. In practice that makes it a marketing production tool more than a plain generator.

Yovid is multi-model too, but lighter: one composer for video and image models such as Seedance, Kling, Veo, Wan, MiniMax H3 and GPT Image, an AI Canvas for chaining steps, image and video upscalers and an API, with credit prices shown up front and no template layer.

What People Use Pollo AI For

Pollo AI’s feature set lines up with a few kinds of buyers. The first three get the most from its templates and agent; if you mostly prompt one model, a simpler tool may cost you less.

Performance marketers

Spin up hooks and ad variants from the UGC templates, URL-to-video ads and Marketing Studio, with a Brand Kit keeping every version on-brand.

Online store owners

Make try-on clips, unboxings and product videos from listings and product photos for an Amazon or Shopify storefront.

Short-form creators

Keep a daily posting rhythm with trend clips, anime, music videos, viral remakes and effects for Shorts, Reels and TikTok, no camera needed.

Storytellers and microdrama makers

Use Pollo Director to keep the same characters across scenes, with voiceover, music and styled captions added along the way.

Agencies

Show clients a finished cut instead of a mood board, switching models shot by shot on one subscription.

Developers and agent builders

Call Pollo AI from its API or CLI, or let Cursor, Claude or ChatGPT reach it through Pollo MCP.

Pollo AI User Reviews and Ratings

On paper Pollo AI scores well on Trustpilot and in both app stores, but the reviews are lopsided: praise tends to be a line or two, while one-star reviews explain at length. We went through the 160 latest English-language Trustpilot reviews rated four or five stars and all 434 English-language reviews from the last 12 months rated one to three stars. Below are the patterns that repeat, each with links to sample reviews.

Praise that keeps coming up

  1. 01

    Good results without long prompts

The compliment we saw most: a tidy interface where a short prompt is often enough for a usable clip.

  2. 02

    Faithful image-to-video and lifelike people

Several reviewers say image-to-video keeps the original framing, and that Pollo 3.0, the latest in-house model, renders convincing people.

  3. 03

Plenty of models behind one login

People like being able to compare image and video engines without hopping between sites.

  4. 04

Free credits to judge quality first

A number of reviewers used the free allowance to decide before paying, though others say the daily freebies were later replaced by a referral scheme.

Recurring complaints

  1. 01

Paying credits for clips that ignore the prompt

The biggest cluster: videos that skip explicit instructions while the credits for each miss are gone anyway. One long-time customer adds that prompts which used to work now give weaker clips.

    How Yovid handles it

On Yovid, a run that fails gives its credits back and the cost is visible before you start. A finished clip you dislike is still billed, so trial new prompts on short, low-resolution settings first.

  2. 02

    Filters flagging ordinary prompts

Close behind: everyday requests, such as a couple holding hands or two people out for a walk, rejected as inappropriate. Late March 2026 brought a burst of one-star reviews that lines up with a stricter content policy.

    How Yovid handles it

For Seedance models, Yovid’s relaxed mode retries a falsely blocked prompt for 10% extra credits. It still refuses banned content and cannot promise a pass.

  3. 03

Annual charges and billing after cancellation

Fewer reviews, but serious ones: people who picked a monthly plan yet paid for twelve months, or who say payments kept coming after they cancelled.

    How Yovid handles it

No card is needed for Yovid’s sign-up credits, packs from $29.90 are one-off payments that never renew, and a subscription can be cancelled from your account at any time.

  4. 04

Partial refunds and credits that lapse

Many refund attempts end with a partial offer, which matches terms that exclude add-on credits and allow up to 6% in fees. Pausing or cancelling also cost some people paid credits, because plan credits never carry over.

    How Yovid handles it

Yovid refunds a purchase if you ask within 3 days and none of its credits have been spent; payment fees (max 4% + $1.50) are deducted and renewals are excluded. Plan credits last 30 days, pack credits 180 days to a year.

  5. 05

Creeping credit prices and narrow “unlimited” deals

Some reviewers say simple clips now cost more credits than they used to, and that “unlimited” offers turned out to apply to fewer models or uses than promised.

    How Yovid handles it

Yovid puts the credit price on screen before you generate. Premium adds a one-time 7-day window per account of free Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 clips, up to 1080p and 10 s each, in a free queue.

We read these ratings and reviews on October 13, 2026. Trustpilot says the Pollo AI profile was claimed in November 2024, shows its business details as unverified, and notes no recent review invitations. The company answers 99% of negative reviews, typically within a day. We summarize rather than quote; follow the links for each reviewer’s own words.

Why Some Pollo AI Users Move to Yovid

The people who switch usually direct their own clips, skip the agent and templates, and want spending they can forecast.

  1. 01

A second chance for falsely blocked prompts

On Seedance models, Yovid’s relaxed mode re-runs a blocked prompt at 10% extra per retry while still refusing banned content. Pollo AI reviewers describe everyday prompts being flagged since the stricter rules arrived at the end of March 2026.

  2. 02

A free Seedance week on Premium

Premium ($99 a month paid yearly) comes with one 7-day window per account of free Seedance 2.5 and 2.0 clips: as many as 11 clips of 10 seconds at 720p. Seedance is absent from the models Pollo AI makes unlimited.

  3. 03

Credits you buy once and keep for months

Packs start at $29.90, stay usable for 180 days to a year and include commercial rights and 1080p Seedance; Seedance 2.5 is on Lite from $13 a month paid yearly. Each run shows its price first, and failed runs cost nothing.

When Pollo AI is still the better call

  • As long as Pollo AI’s 60% off for subscribers lasts, its clips can be the cheaper option today.
  • The template apps, Marketing Studio, Pollo Director or Pollo Agent are part of how you work.
  • You need Pollo’s own models, PixVerse or Vidu, or you rely on its MCP server or phone apps.

Other Pollo AI Alternatives to Consider

Eight more tools worth comparing. Each starting price is the cheapest paid plan, pre-tax, as its pricing page listed it on October 13, 2026. Plans buy very different volumes of output, so treat these as a shortlist rather than a ranking.

Higgsfield

Hosts outside models next to in-house tools (Soul images, Ads Studio, Cinema Studio, AI Influencer), offers team plans and prices Seedance 2.0 and Kling 3.0 per 5-second block.

Pick it for: Its in-house studios, or cheap Kling 3.0: roughly 7 credits buys 5 seconds at 720p.

Skip it for: Full Seedance on a budget: the Starter tier stops at Seedance 2.0 Fast and 2.0 Mini.

Cheapest paid plan: Starter at $19 a month (same monthly or yearly) for 270 credits; the free tier just says “Limited use”.

Runway

Built around Runway’s in-house Aleph, Act-Two and Gen-4.5, adding sound effects, voices and music, upscaling to 4K, and guest models like Kling and Seedance.

Pick it for: Projects where editing matters as much as generating.

Skip it for: Lots of clips on the cheapest tier: Runway itself says the 625 Standard credits buy roughly 52 s of Gen-4.5 output.

Cheapest paid plan: Standard at $15 a month, $12 paid yearly, for 625 credits; the free plan gives 125 credits once.

Their pricing page

Kling AI

Kuaishou’s own app for Kling, including Kling 3.0 Omni and 3.0 with sound, Motion Control, 4K video and a developer platform.

Pick it for: Kling-only users who want to buy straight from the model maker.

Skip it for: Anyone who needs Seedance, which appears on neither its pricing page nor its home page.

Cheapest paid plan: Standard: $6.99 for month one, $8.80 a month after that or $79.20 a year, with 660 credits a month.

Their pricing page

Hailuo AI (MiniMax)

MiniMax’s first-party app for Hailuo and MiniMax H3, with Hailuo Agent and Omni Reference (as many as 12 reference images); paid tiers also unlock Sora 2 and Veo 3.1.

Pick it for: People who like MiniMax’s models and per-second pricing.

Skip it for: Seedance work: no Seedance model is listed for sale, and trial credits only run Hailuo models.

Cheapest paid plan: Standard at $10.50 a month on sale that day, or $8.40 paid yearly, for 1,000 credits.

Their pricing page

Luma Dream Machine

Home of Ray3.2 for video and Uni-1 for images, Luma Agents and connectors for tools like Frame.io and Figma; its credit table also prices Seedance 2.0 Mini, 2.0 and 2.5.

Pick it for: Design teams after Ray3.2 output and agents inside the tools they already use.

Skip it for: Low-cost testing: no free plan is listed and the cheapest tier is $25 a month.

Cheapest paid plan: Plus at $30 a month, $25 paid yearly, for 10,000 credits with commercial use.

Their pricing page

PixVerse

Runs PixVerse’s V6 (with native audio) and real-time R2, plus Lip Sync, Canvas, Agent and an API; the two newest Seedance versions unlock from the Pro tier.

Pick it for: Fast social clips on free daily credits: 60 at sign-up, then 30 a day, capped at 540p.

Skip it for: Cheap Seedance: the Standard tier only runs PixVerse models and maxes out at 720p.

Cheapest paid plan: Standard at $10 a month, $8 paid yearly, for 1,200 credits per 30 days plus 60 daily.

Their pricing page

Vidu

Vidu’s in-house Q3 and Q4 plus real-time Vidu S, with a developer API, Vidu Agent and Reference to Video.

Pick it for: Reference-driven clips on Vidu models; on paid tiers Q4 at 540p uses 2 credits per second.

Skip it for: Seedance, which its pricing page does not offer.

Cheapest paid plan: Standard at $10 a month, $8.25 paid yearly, for 800 credits.

Their pricing page

OpenArt

More than 100 models across audio, image and video (both current Seedance versions included), plus an MCP server, motion sync, lip-sync, Character Builder and Director for shorts and ads.

Pick it for: Character work: consistent characters, motion sync and lip-sync beside the generators.

Skip it for: Client work on the cheapest tier: commercial rights begin at Plus, not Starter.

Cheapest paid plan: Starter at $14 a month, $13 paid yearly, for 4,000 credits.

Questions People Ask

Straight answers on Pollo AI, based on what we checked on October 13, 2026.

What can you make with Pollo AI?
Clips from text or a still image on many models, plus pictures, talking avatars and audio. Marketing Studio produces ads, Pollo Agent assembles multi-shot pieces, and the template apps cover social trends.
Is Pollo AI legitimate?
Yes. The Singapore company COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. operates it, and on October 13, 2026 it held 4.3 on Trustpilot from 5,568 reviews, with Google Play at 4.4 and the App Store at 4.5. Before paying, skim the negative reviews: they describe clips that missed the prompt but still cost credits, strict filters, annual charges people did not expect and partial refunds. Confirm monthly versus yearly before you pay, because refunds only cover plan credits within 3 days.
Does Pollo AI have a free plan?
Yes, signing up gives 20 credits. Paying starts with Lite at $15 a month, or $12 a month on yearly billing, for 400 credits. On our check date Pollo MCP also gave away four videos or twenty images.
Can you get a refund from Pollo AI?
Only for plan credits. You have 3 days from purchase and may not have used more than 50 credits; add-on credits are never refundable, and Pollo AI can keep up to 6% as a processing fee.
Which Pollo AI alternative is best for Seedance?
If Seedance is the main draw, Yovid: Seedance 2.5 on every paid plan, the price of each run visible before you start, a free Seedance week on Premium and packs from $29.90 with no subscription. For Pollo AI-style range instead, look at Higgsfield or OpenArt.
What happens to unused Pollo AI credits when I leave?
According to Pollo AI, add-on credits never expire but plan credits lapse at the end of each cycle. Spend plan credits before you cancel; credits cannot be moved to another service.
Is Yovid connected to Pollo AI?
No. Yovid is independent. The Pollo AI name belongs to its owner and appears here only so the two products can be described and compared.
